Where it can come from
- A builder (Lovable, Bolt, v0, Base44, Replit...): its code as a zip, or a public GitHub address.
- A site already online (Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress...): its address. Leaf reads its pages as visitors see them.
- Another Leaf project: its export.
When you start a new site in the dashboard, Bring a project from elsewhere says how to get it out of each tool, in that tool's own words.
What happens
Leaf keeps what you brought as a draft with a short code, and reads it once: how it is made, what it uses. Then:
Tell your AI
With Leaf, rebuild draft K7Q2PX.
Your AI reads the draft, rewrites the code for Leaf, and brings texts, images and data across. What only a person can do (a domain, a secret's value) it tells you.
Your data
A backup or export of the old database (Supabase, a SQL dump, CSV files) goes on the site's Data page; your AI plans the import and loads it into the preview first.
