Your conversations stay with your AI
Your AI (Claude, ChatGPT or another) is not part of Leaf: your conversations with it are handled by its provider, under its own terms. Leaf never reads your conversations, your AI's memory or the files on your computer. It only receives what your AI sends to Leaf's tools to build your site.
What Leaf keeps of your AI's work
- The connection: which AI is connected, for whom, since when. Kept while the connection exists.
- The site's history: every change to the code, with its message, like any version history.
- A log of your AI's calls, kept 30 days then deleted: the tool, what your AI sent it (keys and passwords we recognise removed, values bound to a database query not kept, long texts cut), whether it worked, and the start of the answer. For a tool that reads data (a database's rows, what visitors sent, purchases), nothing of the answer is kept. The log serves to help you and to see which tools mislead AIs.
- Reports from your AI about a tool that got in its way, kept 30 days.
Secrets
API keys and passwords a site needs are typed by a person in the dashboard, never by your AI. The code only names them; they are stored sealed, hidden from logs, and nothing reads a value back.
Where your sites' data lives
Each site's database, files and live rooms are kept in the European Union by default, a guarantee. A site can be placed near its visitors elsewhere (North America, Asia-Pacific, Oceania) when it is created.
Cutting access
- Your AI in the dashboard: disconnect an AI at once.
- A new password disconnects every AI.
- Deleting your account removes your access and your personal data, as the privacy policy says.
